Preface:
Basically I have 4 hours a day to kill during my commute. I don’t drive to work, I take the train and it takes two hours each way. I suppose I could take credit for being “green” with all this, but it’s really just because I don’t want to put all the miles on my car, and I don’t really get paid enough to justify the gas expenses yet.
So this leaves me with a comfortable ride on two trains and a lot thumb twiddling time. I have an old (really old) laptop but it keeps crashing after a few weeks of use and needs to be reformatted often. The battery life is quite dismal as well. So…
On Topic:
With all this low tech greatness, I have begun to dedicate time to web design and traditional art. Whenever I get some smooth time on the train I spend some time sketching (or trying to sketch) and if the laptop is working, I can dictate changes to html files or other minor web code adjustments.
So far this seems to be working out to a small degree. I would really like to be able to keep updates for this blog and other files prepped and ready to as soon I get home to publish, but I will continue having to split the clock and make do with what I have.
This weekend I was able to update the video presentation for the U-CAP website I have been moderating and made some minor tweaks to my own again.

So updates will keep coming …
